The Sarasota Orchestra and Maestro Andrew Lane welcome you into a winter wonderland for an intimate evening of music and storytelling. David Chernault and the Next Generation Kids, together with the Holiday Singers, join the Orchestra for a celebration of traditional and contemporary holiday favorites. The concert opens as excited children gather around the tree to sing songs and listen to yuletide stories, including a musical rendition of "The Night Before Christmas." The evening concludes with a suite from the modern-day classic The Polar Express. This concert is a perfect treat for anyone from five to ninety-five!

About David Chernault
David Chernault starred as Daddy Warbucks for the 30th anniversary national tour of Annie. He also reprised this role in New York City at Madison Square Garden with Kathy Lee Gifford. His voice-over credits include Warner Brothers, Walt Disney World and Baby Felix Cartoon series where Chernault performed over 25 different voices. He has entertained at Disney World, Universal Studios, Tokyo Disneyland, and various theaters in the Washington D.C. area, including Arena Stage and Foldger Theater.
About The Next Generation Kids
One of the leading schools in the country for training children to audition on a professional level, the Next Generation Kids are based in Orlando. They will come to Sarasota to be a part of Home for the Holidays and showcase their performing skills and musical talent.
About The Holiday Singers
The Holiday Singers are comprised of professional vocalists from Central Florida, each of whom offers unique performance skills ranging from opera and Broadway, to jazz, pop, Gospel, country, and barbershop. This combination of voices brings a robust yet well-blended sound of the highest caliber to a variety of musical styles. The group feels equally at home with an intimate audience or in a grand concert hall.
