The Sarasota Orchestra marches into the holidays with a toe-tapping assortment of seasonal favorites, including A Christmas Festival, March of the Toys (from Babes in Toyland), Jingle Bells Forever March, and Festive Sounds of Hanukkah. And, since everyone loves a parade, you'll also be favored with selections such as Broadway on Parade, Meet Me in St. Louis, and The Light Cavalry Overture.The conductor will amuse and delight audiences with commentary and anecdotes between musical numbers. Wednesday and Friday evening performances are a one-hour abbreviated program. Thursday and Saturday evening performances are a full program with intermission.
